Not a problem.

What a load of crap. I'm sure a single phone call to a Planned Parenthood clinic in another state would result in a PP employee or volunteer to pick that woman up and transport her to a PP clinic.

Maybe, just maybe, if abortions were a little less immediately available, women and their sexual partners would take a few minutes to prevent conception in the first place.

Like if guns were less easily accessible, there would be fewer gun murders?

How does one equate mask mandates with government control, and then support telling a woman what to do with her body?

It sounds like your gripe really isn't about abortion, it is about others behavior that you disagree with. You feel that having a baby, or being injured or killed from a botched illegal abortion, is fitting punishment. I probably won't be around long enough to have to deal with the increased crime rate that will happen when we flood the country with adolescents who were unwanted children. If your avatar is anywhere near recent, you may be around to experience it. I pray that you are cognizant enough to know that you (among many others) helped to cause it. I didn't bother going into detail about the horrors of "coat hanger abortions, as you probably feel that they are sinners and deserve to reap what you believe they have sown.

The current administration is allowing exactly the same to flood across our southern border every day--yet not a peep from you on that.

Still is a fact that PP clinics are purposely, and historically, located in minority neighborhoods, and we all know the glaring reason for that. THOSE children are unwanted.

Under current law, it seems that an unborn child is valued, and has rights, only if it is wanted. Otherwise it is an unwanted parasite to be eradicated.

Like newborn kittens, to be kept and nurtured if wanted, otherwise to be drowned in the bathtub.

Or like female babies in China during the one-child-per-family days, to be thrown over a cliff.

Or like plants. If it's pretty and wanted, it is kept. If unwanted, it's a weed and to be killed.

A human life, if unwanted, has no more value than that. That's a commentary on 21st century American values.
A more modern version of eugenics.

But you are against it at the border, but you are for forced birth. I don't see how any libertarian could support denying abortion. It is much more government control than demanding that you not infect those who don't even know you are sick.

My "gripe" isn't about behavior I disagree with. It's about murdering viable babies. Coat hanger abortions occurred when abortion was illegal. That is no longer the case. States will regulate abortion...some will place severe limits, some will allow unlimited access up to and including the moment of full term birth.

Birth control is now available to all who wish it...and at no cost through PP clinics etc. Is it 100% fool proof...no. But it works for the majority of women who use it. And let me tell you as a health care professional. I worked in a hospital for many years in Tennessee, and we would see the same names over and over again during VIP clinic (voluntary interruption of pregnancy). Abortion was the contraception of choice for many women.

Instead of PP spending 150 million dollars for Democrat campaigns this year, perhaps they should buy vans to transport women from PP clinics in states with restrictions on abortions to those allowing abortion on demand.

There was a time when childhood death was much more common than it is today. The earth is already overcrowded. The country should not make a suicide pact based on the religious beliefs of a minority. My god man, you are a doctor. Are you against "death with dignity as well"?

"Why, if there is anything in supply and demand, life is the cheapest thing in the world. There is only so much water, so much earth, so much air; but the life that is demanding to be born is limitless. Nature is a spendthrift. Look at the fish and their millions of eggs. For that matter, look at you and me. In our loins are the possibilities of millions of lives. Could we but find time and opportunity and utilize the last bit and every bit of the unborn life that is in us, we could become the fathers of nations and populate continents. Life? Bah! It has no value. Of cheap things it is the cheapest. Everywhere it goes begging. Nature spills it out with a lavish hand. Where there is room for one life, she sows a thousand lives, and it's life eats life till the strongest and most piggish life is left.”

Do you have a poll on that? This is the result of a previous court molding the constitution for a political outcome, Alito is correct in saying that Roe was an egregious reading of the constitution. There is an amendment process that liberals refuse to use as they prefer to use a political court to make constitutional changes. Had the liberals followed the constitutionally prescribed method of instituting Roe as the law of the land this entire conversation would be mute.

Good! Then a constitutional amendment should be easy.
