I have a Nikon d3300 that I use pretty hard. I love it because I no longer have much of a learning curve. However, when I try to shoot photos of nature or animals there is a very annoying and obvious shutter delay. This isn't a constant, but often enough to be annoying. Short of purchasing a new camera body are there any remedies? I use back button focus. I set my iso, not auto. I most often shoot in aperture mode and watch to keep my shutter speed up. Thanks for any advice.
Possibly accidentally set for 2nd curtain flash that fires at end of the exposure??
