I have too much junk in my garage. My car has to live in the driveway!

Okay, I think I just beat "Jerry" for the most post in "chit-chat" for one day. Needed something to do, because I am on an 18 hour period of fasting because I have an Echo-gram and a Stress test in the morning at 7:15. I'm already hungry! I can't even have some of my Dewars Scotch Whiskey, aged 12 years, before bed - - - - - - and I have to watch my cat eat "wild salmon primivera".

We just built a new house with a three car garage. Don't I wish I had a garage like one of these. Developers these days hardly give you enough room to squeeze your cars in, much less get out of the car!!! My parents' two car garage had room for storage, two refrigerators and a big tool bench.

I know just what you are talking about. A couple if years ago my Son and his Wife had a new house built with a two car garage. The first time He tried to put his Silverado in the garage He found out it was to long. If the front bumper was touching the wall that garage door would hit the rear bumper if He tried to shut the door. His Wife drove Her new Chevy SUV into the garage and ripped the mirror off of the passenger door. Too narrow!

Better watch it, if you get hungry enough that cat food might go to looking pretty good.

Some of the neighbors in the neighborhood have the same problem.

While Dewars is a good mixing scotch, I much prefer Glenfiddich 18 single malt scotch.

I built my own garage--a 36x30 three-bay that is still too small.

I'm not going to look at your link because I know that garage looks nothing like mine. I've seen so many pictures of garages that are nicer than my house. I have all the depression I need.

Good luck with your tests. I have another colonoscopy coming up in three weeks.

Is that a problem with the garage or the truck? Pickup trucks used to be shorter than full size cars. Nowadays, trucks are significantly longer than a full size car. Strang how things happen ….

They were mostly used as work trucks before they got so popular. My Grandpa's '60 International had one seat and a bed. Stick shift, and I mean a stick shift that went all the way to the floor. It was really cool. It was NOT the second family car. He filled it up from a gas pump that was next to the garage which he only used for farm equipment. They had a car but filled it up in town.

The house I currently live in has a four stall detached garage, two stalls of which belong to a neighbor. My wife and I own two cars (one a full sized sedan the other a mid-sized SUV) and a full dress Harley. We can fit them all in the garage but one or both cars must be out of the garage to get the bike in or out, and it is difficult getting in and out of the cars.
