Captured the first three bird images this afternoon, about 4:50 PM PST. The bird was about 25 feet into the woods, about 65 feet from me and about 15 feet above. Pacific Northwest, just South of Seattle. I believe it to be a Yellow-rumped Warbler. Merlin's example shows a white throat for Myrtle Warblers, and a yellow throat for Audubon's Warbler. Myrtle's Eastern US through Alaska, Audubon's the Western Mountain region. I believe I have photographed a Myrtle's Yellow-rumped Warbler in the PNW! Can anyone help with the ID? I have been wrong too many times...
Caught that Spotted Towhee just as he was jumping off!
American Robin looks majestic in that tree!
That Song Sparrow played Hide and Seek with me until finally flying off.
The White-crowned Sparrow looked regal on that branch.
The Dark-eyed Junco shot required a minimal crop. The rest were over 30 feet away and further.
Very few bees are evident still as it is unseasonably kewl = few flowers.
Download and enjoy!
