I think by this time, we all know about "The Grab Shot." You see a good scene, and you shoot it immediately. If the scene lasts for a few minutes, you can take your time to adjust the camera and find a good angle.

I had one about 30 years ago Jerry, After a long walk I came to a clearing overlooking a lake, it was like a mirror. Whipped out the Olympus XA and got it, perfect reflections. Thought I'd try and step back a bit, frame it by the trees, you know the shot. There was now a hint of a breeze, after just a few seconds, the water surface was now a dull silver with no reflection whatsoever. Hung around about 20 minutes but the shot didn't come back. I suppose now I could scan both photos and make the best of both but I never did. Like a catch and release angler photography for me is about getting out and doing it, coming home empty handed not really a problem. Back to your cartoon we all have 14 year old grandkids born it seems just last week. Cheers, Andrew.

"She" gives you a hint. She's a conscientious housewife. "I have to get all these things done!"
