This is a SOOC shot of the Mendenall Glacier with the adjacent Nuggett Falls, outside of Juneau, Alaska. The glacier and falls may appear smaller in this photo than they actually are. Nuggett Falls, fed by Nuggett Creeks plummets about 375 feet from the top, for instance. The glacier is about 13.6 miles long. Tours can be arranged to have a helicopter fly you to the glacier, land on it and let you get out and walk around.

Very nice image Matt - here's my view:
I worked on this one for some time. Came up with 5 different versions. My first one was an HDR that looked hard and to contrived. As I worked on the next 3 they to looked over processed. I decided to just keep it as natural as it might have been for this final version.

Are you allowed to take out the stray leaves on the left?

Sure. Anything is ok for these challenges. Removing things or even adding things.
In my case I thought they were a big distraction. So removed what I could while still keeping Matt's scenic view in place.
Well, I tried. I don't really like how it came out.
Mendenhall Glacier
I left one guy in for a sense of scale.
I thought I would break into the edits to show just how large the Nuggett Falls is. This is a shot of the falls from a different distance. Note the size of the people at the base of the falls. Please excuse me for interrupting.
