Well almost...at least that is what the recipe calls it. How can you go wrong when there is beer with only a small amount of yeast. Mix it up the night before and let it rise all night. OK ..knead it 15 seconds in the morning and let it sit for another two hours. Put it in a cold over with a lid on it. Take the lid off after about half hour and finish baking.

I was trying different lighting with my pictures. I thought the first one had too much light.

I call that "NEED" bread! Warm Slice with a slather of Butter. Nothing else like that in the Known Universe !!

(I think the lighting on that first image would have been Awesome if you had some reflected light from a white card or something on that front! - that second shot is no slouch though!!)

This is no good! :)

I see such photos (I loved the second one) and read what it is, then all I want to do right away is to try a recipe. My mouth is still watering even though the picture has moved off of my screen! --Richard

Put in a cold oven. Bake at 425 with the lid on for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake another 20-30 minutes until golden brown. Done temp is 210. (Bake in a dutch oven) I know you have Le Creuset and that works well.

Thanks Papa J. I appreciate it! The cutting board is not a mass produced one a person can get at your local store.

You are welcome. I am not able to post the recipe as it is from Cooks Country and that is a paid site.
