I bought a Nikon Z50 yesterday and was wondering if anyone knows of some special features of the camera that are nice to use?
I love the EVF...seeing the effects of your settings as you change them, through the viewfinder. It's light and is great at low light with high iso's. Great auto-focus. I'm not a pro, but I'm delighted with the results thus far!

The best feature IMO is the ability to use the PF lenses and the S series lenses !
.
There are hundreds of videos on YouTube regarding the Z50. I actually bought 2 and I enjoy them a lot. While I have a Z6ii and a Z7ii I shoot with the Z50s much of the time. It fascinates me that such an inexpensive camera can be so sharp.
...absolutely love mine. Just go out and shoot, and see what happens! Of course, given you know a little about the Nikon menu system...
I have a Z50 (to go along with my D500 & D850). The Z50 is a good introduction to mirrorless. I find the sensor in the Z50 is amazing (better than then one in the D500). I also like the 16-50 "pancake lens especially for street photography. I bought a Z18-140 DX lens (used frim B & H), which make the Z50 a great walk-around and travel camera.
I love mine. Best feature for me is attaching an "F" telephoto and getting extra reach from the crop factor.
Z50 my first mirrorless after like 22 years of DSLRs
Love it!
Plan to use it as travel camera instead of D5200
With FTZ and Tamron 18-300 lighter
Love silent shutter

I purchased a Z50 package with 16-50mm & 50-250mm lenses as an intro to NIKON Mirrorless camera systems. It convinced me that I would like to transition to a full mirrorless camera system. Especially if I purchased an FTZ adapter that would allow me to use my NIKON DSLR lenses. I sold my D5 & D810 and a lot of my G lenses that I didn't use any more. That helped me finance my Z6II & Z9 system. The experiment was a success. I loved that little camera. It has capabilities I never expected. I'm sure you will see with the response to your post that many folks agree with me. Good luck and have fun with your Z50
Great for making videos specially able to grab stills while recording , in silence.
Also ability to select area to focus while making video just by touching rear screen
Overall very happy with Z50
Ability to use F mount lenses made adding mirrorless reasonable investment
Get Steve Perry’s book on the Mirrorless Nikon Autofocus System. It will guide you on how to set up and use your camera to get great pictures.
If you have any lenses that require manual focus learn to use focus peaking.
Like others above I also have a Z6 but use the Z50 much more. The two kit lenses do the job for me when not using my 200-500.
Find book by Mike Hagan is that the one?
