I looked there, That is not "Sold by Amazon/Shipped from Amazon". Those are resellers using Amazon in a shortage.

Posted a while ago looking for a good photo printer. Like to do 11x14 maybe 13 wide also BUT my wall hangers I usually send out.
Love to get excellent 11x14 at home.
Looking at Canon pixma pro 200. They are back ordered or out of stock. Anyone have this printer that can give a review? Saw it for $600 which I can do. The cost of ink is high but I can deal with it.
Any other suggestions for good quality photo printer, and I prefer Canon, might be open to others but love Canon customer service.

It's a good printer. I've had one for 3 years now, and after a small challenge in setup that customer service walked me through, it has worked very well. Most of my printing is on 13x19 paper, and ink is a bit pricey, but it's been a reliable machine.

I have the Canon PRO 200 and love it. It makes professional prints up to 13X19 that rival professional lab prints. Set up was easy.

Looks like the pro 200 way to go. Thanks everyone. Too bad even Canon doesn't know when they will be in stock again

I have had a couple of Canon printers, not for photo printing, and was disappointed with both of them. I find HP printers much more dependable. I don't know if they make photo printers.

I have a Canon pro 100. I have had very good luck it. I call canon when one on the colors would not print. The printer was 2 years out of warranty. They sent me out a NEW print head at no charge. I had great customer service.

I have one and I love it. I use mostly Red River papers with their profile down loads.

My Canon PIXMA IX 6820 does up to 13X19, I think it was around $200. Does a great job for me. Hope this helps, cheers. Dan

I have a Canon Pixma pro 9000MK2 that refuses to give up. I also have a Canon Pixma 100. another Canon that never quits. Sometimes they may sit for several months without being used. I run the quick cleaning program and back in business. The only negative is the ink is expensive. I have not found any aftermarket ink that worked very well. I stand by Canon printers.

The 200 uses dye ink like the discontinued 100 that I have. The prints are great. But, the 300 uses pigment ink that lasts much longer. You might find it useful for your "wall hangers". The 300 is not currently backordered.

If (or when!) my 100 breaks, I will probably try hard to screw up the courage to get a 300 with the better ink system.

Better ink system is debatable. It depends on what's important to you. The Pro-200 uses dye inks and the Pro-300 uses pigment inks. It is true that printers that use pigment inks are less prone to fading over time but printers that use dye inks tend to produce prints that are more "brilliant". The difference is noticeable.

I had the same problem (pro 100) and Canon was trying to rectify the blue print problem. Solution was to find a local tech to look into the system. Yeah right. So I had to trash that effin monster that was great until it crapped out. The iP8720 is doing fine so far.

Who makes the iP8720?

My Pro 100 Canon crapped out on me and customer service was useless. None of the fixes they suggested worked. It looked like the power supply was out so I bought a refurbished one from a Chinese company. No dice. So now I have a very expensive boat anchor sitting on the floor in my garage and will have to shell out for a new printer if I want to print my own photos. The next one won't be a Canon. Very disappointing because the Pro 100 was a great printer until it just up and quit with no warning one day. Sad thing is I had only made, maybe, 100 prints with it.

I found a deal for the P-100 some time ago from a large store up in NY. that had a rebate along with money off from Canon plus 2 boxes of 16X19 photo paper. After all the deals for the 100 it came to my cost of $65 for the 100.
I bought 2 with that deal and now I have a back up. I think it was at the right time when Canon was discontinuing the 100.
