My first photo submission to UHH so please be kind. I took this image at a very small wildlife preserve on Long Island which has a pair of nesting eagles. Out of the corner of my eye I saw this GBH fly and I followed it. Using my brand new Olympus OM-1 and 150-400mm lens, I was able to capture this beauty. Very little processing except to clean up the branches and the usual LR adjustments--I thought the images obtained with this new camera were pretty good so far. Much of the noise issues associated with previous models has been addressed and the AI is very good. I will show some eagle photos soon.
CC welcome.
Thank you very much.

Outstanding. Great first post.
No reason to be critical. Your first post is very nice. Nice detail and color. Keep posting.
Very nice first post. Very sharp
You managed to make the heron take center stage in an otherwise camouflaged setting. Well done!
Where on Long Island are you and the preserve located? I live in East Setauket and have not found any GBH.
