First I can go online and find info about the recovery cut past just like you with that in your world right now who the heck cares you have Obama he is this counties pres if you like it or not. It seems to me its better for you if america falls apart then to help find ways to get it back on track your canidate Mitt Rodmey lost by over 50 percent because your party picked the wrong person to lead a conservative aganda that people could trust those are facts and those facts don't need to be found on the web and then cut and paste.

What you are not understanding or don't want to see is that at this point, it doesn't really matter who is sitting in the office of the president.

We are toooo far gone. We have just passed the tipping point and there is no going back to....what the US used to be. There is no "fixing."

This country was built upon the Constitution, it isn't standing on that anymore. "They" have been tearing it apart, bit by bit for some time now. "They" know exactly what they are doing and they are doing it on purpose.

The real question is....how many Americans can see it?

So, a majority of the American People who are registered to vote, wanted a leader with leadership skills, not a leader who leads from behind, so they elected Obama, which makes them smart.

That's a good joke line for a late night tv host. :thumbup:

You want to believe that things are going to go down hill from now on. I voted for President Obama because I'm a liberal who believes that this country is moving in the right direction. We are better off now then we were four years ago; I see the road ahead really bumpy, we are encountering alot of ruts right now. But as far as I can see down this long dustry road I can see the bumps getting smaller and the ruts from the Republican Party dimishing because more and more of them will have ran out of gas and left the recovery road. I see the road becoming smoother by the end of the Presidents four years and our country cherrishing in another huge victory for the Democrats in 2016. I'm 65 now and hope my eyes will be able to visualize my dreams because our President brings us hope and a since of well being and not a road full of ruts the Republicans want us to create with their divisiveness.

You are in the minority most americans wanted obama for lots of reasons.
quote=Bmac quote=Hunter Lou 1947 The American p... (show quote)

Well, not quite, I am in the minority relative to the number of registered voters who voted. I do not have the figures regarding the percentage of Americans who can be registered to vote and are, and the percentage who are registered and then voted.

You, nor anyone else, can say with any certainty that most Americans wanted Obama as president.

By the way, if my views are minority beliefs that doesn't compel me to change them one iota. Being for racial equality was once a minority view, as were many other instances where the minority turned out to be correct. 8-)

Household income is hardly the only measure of how the economy is doing, and it is usually the last thing to improve after recovering from a recession. In the last four years the economy has been gaining jobs, not bleeding them away like was happening in 2008. The housing market is improving. We have no major industries which are either going into bankruptcy, like the auto industry did in 2008-2009, nor are we providing bailouts to the financial companies like we did in 2008. I would consider all of these things improvements economically speaking.

Hey, that may be an inconvenient truth! Ironically, I believe the middle class has been hit very hard the last four years, along with the poor. Wealthy Americans have fared the best. Strange, being Obama has ruled the roost the last four years. One would think with all the rhetoric, the poor and middle class would be doing just fine. Then again, even Biden realized this wasn't so.

Ahhh, the inconsistencies of politics in the US. 8-)

Ever hear the expression that "words are cheap" or "actions speak louder than words?"

So, to sum it up...you can't answer Robert's question. Fair enough, it would be a difficult answer to spin, you are correct not to try and answer it. 8-)
