Thanks, Jimmy!! I watch a game in about an hour or less. I'm lucky, my wife is also a sports fan, so we watch together.

That would work on all except the games I really care about. The other way to save some time is to watch the last quarter only.

It works all the time. I also record tennis, golf, football, baseball & regular TV, including the news. One year, I was on vacation during the Super Bowl. It was recorded while I was away, I stayed secure from results and watched it two weeks after the event.
It's not about saving time, it's about excluding the barrage of commercials and extraneous "hoopla".

I DO remember having to wait to see the Miracle on Ice after the fact and make sure not to know the end. THAT was def. the wait. There are two significant sporting events that are etched into my memory forever: Michigan's upset of Ohio State in '69 and the Miracle on Ice.

Nice looking picture and corned beef dinner. I always remember my "Da" saying he was glad he came here for he never knew that's was what you ate on St. Paddy's Day.
I'm hoping Duke goes all the way.
