I was raking leaves from our European Weeping Beech this morning. Leaves fall a round Christmas time.
I was working my way along outside the fence at the top of the stone wall to the left of the angel when I raked a clump of dead grass and uncovered these baby rabbits.
Took a couple of shots and fully covered them again. I had dirt covered work gloves on so I hope no damage was done.

Nice photos! Hope we have the opportunity to see more photos as Mom comes to check on them and when they eventually leave the nest. A few years ago I had a similar opportunity when I discovered the same in one of my wife’s flower pots and chronicled the event with several posts here on the hog.

I do not monitor that closely.
But will walk in the area once in a while.
I try to not disturb wild animals nesting.
