Excellent! I don't think I've ever seen any of those birds.

Thanks, David. They are called the Mexican Eagle. A southern species rarely seen in the US except in South Texas and apparently sometimes in Southern Arizona and maybe New Mexico. I'm glad you liked them!

I'm not a birder--It would be safe to say that I'm generally an anti-birder--but these shots are spectacular. I'd heard of Caracara, but had never seen one or a picture of one. Great job.

Thanks. I'm not a birder either, although not an anti-birder. Just a wildlife photographer. I'm glad you liked them!

Nice poses, do they migrate up from South America?

Thanks. Not sure if they are migratory or not. They are called the Mexican Eagle, but fairly common in South Texas.

I’m in SE Pennsylvania, about 15 miles from the Conowingo Dam over the Susquehanna River. During the months of October to February, it’s teeming with Bald Eagles. If you’re ever in the area, PM me. There are lots of visitable and photographable sites in the area.

Thank you very much for the invite! I appreciate it. I've seen lots of photos here of Eagles from the Conowingo Dam.
I would like to visit, just don't know when that might happen. I'll definitely pm you when that comes up in our plans!
