The road to Valentines Lodge - Assateague Island. It is a walking trail - about 4 miles (2 in/2out)
I absolutely love being in the back country - no one but us, it was amazing!

New neighbors moved in around the corner from my home, and put this life size bronze sculpture in their front yard. It seemed a bit out of place, although it gave one more thing to photograph.
The second photo is the "Little Red Chapel" built in 1880 by the US Army at Fort Sherman; now the campus of North Idaho Collage. The Red Chapel always inspired me to photograph and capture the chapel in paintings.
Trying out my new Z28-75 2.8 lens this afternoon.
Some of the old properties on Assateague Island
Here are a few "street shots". When I am traveling I like to get shots of people who seem to me to be in somewhat unusual circumstances and may have a story (that I can only guess at)
