I did not notice the sky, but I found the receding line of the trim on the barn distracting. I would look at it with the image cropped lower and see what you think. Of course, you would need a custom mat, and bottom weight the map to fit a standard frame.
I noticed the sky, but if I were you I wouldn't worry about it.

Great as is, Marg but you could always crop it out, leave it.
I thing that that is a great photo. I am interested in the program you used to enhance that photo.

I’m considering having this printed at 11x14 to enter a juried show. Do any of you find the bit of blue sky in the top right corner to be distracting? Or does it add needed light to the picture?
Thanks

The sky does not appear to distract. The wrecker in the bottom right does.

Looks fine to me. I think the same amount of blue sky actually adds to the image.
I enjoy this image Marg, I like the balance in your composition subjects and colors. I would suggest, since this is a juried contest (and if allowed), to clone out/crop out the red line about 1/3 down on the extreme right edge. I see red buds or growth in the tree foliage, but this appears to me to be large enough that it draws my eye on close inspection. If you're really concerned about the sky, maybe try cloning in foliage to eliminate the blue and see if that presents the image you want to enter. Regardless, I like you image and wish you well. Bev
I too would darken the sky. Photo is great. I think a darker sky will improve it a bit.
I didn't find it distracting, but it doesn't do anything for the photo either. I would crop it at the top just above that window.
Nice rust!
Not a distraction. It belongs there. If it bothers you, tone down the brilliance a bit.
My eyes are also drawn to the red truck.
Yes, it is a distraction - plus, you need more space in front of the Jeep & base as well.
Marg you can fix that in photo shop I did it for you if you want I can give my e mail address and e mail me and I'll send it back I mean it looks ok the way it is but I filled up that area with trees . it is a nice picture Mike
