Do you not realize what all we get from "fossil" production. I think, before you say something like "get off the oil tit" you should really educate yourself on what comes from oil, natural gas, and coal and then tell the rest of us how to replace everything.

drilling is the answer, then we don't depend on our enemies for oil! Our oil will not fund our enemies, but will make us more secure and independent not needing oil from overseas.

Here is why it doesn't matter. Our refinery's are set up for sour crude. We export sweet crude to 3 other countries to be refined. Without either building new refinerys or changing the ones we have we can't do much with our massive amounts of oil. Due to politics and the EPA getting a refinery built is almost impossible.
