I was at a friend's house today working on a small project in his blacksmith shop. He and his brothers inherited all of the blacksmith tools and the two barns that house all this stuff after his parents passed away, but he and his brothers, over the years, have added soooo many more tools and material to the collection that it out does some hardware stores. There's so much more than what my pictures can show. It really is a lot of fun working on metal shop projects there. Enjoy ~ Rich

Need to show this to my wife as proof that one can be organized without having to be neat about it. The ongoing battle for my work areas.

Exactly, they know where everything is at.

The first photo is a table and shelf, which is behind the large metal project table, where small items are placed that they pick up or friends give them. A lot of these items will be used for 'art work' and sculptures, that are created using welding. If you look closely there's even a piston and crankshaft sitting on the table that will eventually get used for something. Creative minds!

Yes, it may look messy but it's definitely organized. The first photo is like your junk drawer where things get placed but eventually you'll find some use for it.

Thanks everyone for commenting. This is their retirement retreat where hours are spent tinkering around and spending time with friends.
