This bridge connects the mainland with a Maine Island known as Deer Isle. It's called a white knuckle bridge by some because it is narrow and in some places, oncoming vehicles are in blindspots. Still, I think it is a beautiful bridge.

I enjoy shooting bridges of all kinds and want to see yours, too.
Very nice start, Karen, it should be a good one. Looking forward to seeing some great bridges don't you know...
I have a few for sure but most from archives.

It is especially with teenagers bouncing around on it lol
We drove down to San Francisco to pick up a golden retriever rescue flying in from Istanbul, Turkey a couple of years ago. We stayed at The Presidio and it was beautiful with a view of the bridge out our window.
Know it well. Lived in SF for several years and would come down here on the weekends from time to time. Like this Dusk/Night shot
. Good luck with the new pup - I'm also looking into another rescue dog. My last passed away last Christmas.
