I need to update my Z fc's firmware. I love the picture of the Z fc in the link. it shows the new Nikkor Z 40mm f/2 lens and the SmallRig L bracket grip accessory designed for the Z fc, both of which I have and love.

Interesting.
One cannot expect all old flashes to work.
Just like most of your old Nikon lenses do not work anymore.
They fit but do not work as designed with all features.
