Thanks, texan. I'm glad you liked it even if the last photo was a bit over the top. I love going out looking for Rock Art and have been doing it for many years. Never before saw anything like that last photo. But it just goes to show that 21st century or 15th century, we are all very much alike! For better or worse
So...you think I might have a future on the comedy circuit if this photography thing doesn't work out?
Thanks, texan. I'm glad you liked it even if the l... (show quote)

Absolutely! I hope you work on Your comedy routine every night...just in case.

A very interesting set. I'm now motivated to make the trip myself. Thanks for the encouraging photos.

Thanks very much! You won't regret it. Not to mention all the other fascinating stuff around there within a hundred mile circle. My pleasure sharing my photos!

Well, my wife isn't as appreciative of my attempts at humor, not every night anyway! But if I tell her I'm working on a backup plan, maybe she will cool her jets.

You're very welcome, Steve! I'm glad you liked them. I think they are fascinating! Sort of a link back into earlier human existence.

#1 This is part of what is called the Great Hunt.
#2 This looks like two or more layers of art one on top of older stuff. On the far right looks like maybe a badger?
#3 What can I say, they liked Bighorn Sheep. My experience is that they taste great! Also notice what looks like anteaters? maybe. And one of them being bitten in the butt by a snake. maybe?
#4 A big Buffalo. Pregnant, maybe? I'll bet they didn't call them Bison.
#5 A storage Grainery about 200 feet above the canyon floor.
#6 Another Buffalo accompanied by some weird folk and some other stuff??! This also looks like layers covering a considerable period of time.
#7 This was a surprise to me. Notice that all the previous R.A. were petroglyphs (engraved) but this one is pictographs (painted) and a very different style. It looks more like the stuff you would see down around Moab (Anasazi). Maybe they had visitors, long lost cousins, maybe?
#8 This is for those who expressed an interest. I'm hesitant to describe it...but it looks like the fantasies of a sixteen year old kid with raging hormones to me. Obviously, an excited male figure and two...ah...available females maybe? This was a surprise to me too.
I hope you like this post.

You did a wonderful job here getting clear shots of the glyphs. Thanx for your efforts and for sharing.

I'm glad you liked them! I always thought the bucket list got shorter as you age. Hasn't worked that way for me! Sharing is what the UHH is all about!

Thank you, Eugene! It must have been very laborious work using only stone on stone, but I'm glad they thought it was worthwhile!
