You know, I actually deleted out "woman," but then I realized that it is always a woman. I used to drive an elderly woman, and going to the supermarket was an experience. When the cashier wanted payment, this senior citizen seemed surprised. Then she had to find a credit card and figure out how to insert it into the machine, or she would pay with cash, getting the exact amount right down to the penny.
You just have to be more selective in the people you drive to the store or the ones you stand behind at the supermarket. Where I live, it is easy to find a sexy looking woman to follow to the checkout line.

Is it just me or my luck. Seems like every time someone just pulls into the drive thru line in front of me, orders for a bus load of people. LOL! Doesn't matter if it is Starbucks or KFC. Then to add to the drama they sometimes have a diesel engine they let idle loudly filling your car with fumes. Does this ever happen to you? I usually order ahead on their app so my food is sometimes cold. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ALWAYS SAY ABOUT THE DRIVE THRU. LOL

I'm sure you've noticed this, just as I have. And I'm sure it annoys you as much as it annoys me.
When I'm at an event with a food table - not a meal, but snack food - people get their snacks and then stand in front of the table, talking to someone else. What's the etiquette here? Get very close and stare at them? Push them out of the way? Maybe just say, "Excuse me." "Oh, am I in the way?" Of course, you're in the way, you idiot! You're blocking all the food! Why do you think there is a line of people waiting to get to the table?
The other problem is doorways. Why do people think that a doorway is the perfect spot to hold a conversation? There they are, talking about nonsense, while lines form on either side waiting to get to the food table or the bathroom. "Oh, did you want to get through?" Maybe they're visitors from California, and they habitually stand in doorways in case The Big One hits.

You just ranted about my two favorites and © JimmyT Rants.
Regarding the snack food buffet, if the offenders use the small plates at the head of the line and move along, other folks will quickly see and snicker at the amount of food they piled up on their plates and start whispering and giggling about their ever-increasing waistline. So, as long as they stand in place rafted up with a group, there they feel as if they are invisible and no one may count such a large number of servings they consume while in the crowd in front of the serving table.
If confronted, the well-prepared and unrepentant food bandits will insist that such large portions are meant to be shared with a spouse/friend, etc.
Another idea is that they are operating in "Full AI" mode and possess no social graces whatsoever, after all, it is first-come-first-served, sigh?
Regarding the doorway jams, it seems that being a place of transition the doorway seems to be a safe place to say hello/goodbye to someone when you hope that they will not dare to disrupt the normal flow of traffic and engage in meaningful conversation. Despite your plan they will freeze in place while they not so fleetingly try to recall your face/name in case they owe you cash or they forgot to return your now broken or lost lens.
I have a few other "favorite rants", but I must now stand in front of our coffee maker and decide which Starbucks-inspired coffee confections to use.
Whoops, I gotta go, the wife is directing her "get-outta-the-way" rant on me. Now her rants do not make me . . . .
Smile,

I haven't used a drive-thru in years. Aside from what you mention, I can't understand the clerk, and the clerk can't understand me.

Stay away from drive-ups. People get killed in those. Whoops - you said drive-in’s right? People die from them too.

This may be a little to long but it covers a lot of things Jerry mentions in a different way. You can skip around if you don't have time. Kind of funny if you can relate!

Jerry, a simple solution...When you go to one of these places, don't eat or drink. LOL. Then you won't have to push your way through at all. Simple? Awwwwww!

LOL. Me three! (I hate saying me 2.)
Yup; I'm with you. Whether it's someone who doesn't sit down in front of you at a concert, drives 35 mph on a road posted for 45, talks loudly on their phone in a quiet waiting room or blocks the food table, it all comes down to being inconsiderate of others. Their entire focus, is themselves.
