Do you have a tripod for sale?

I do not. I posted the info on my experience with ProMaster thinking one could buy new at price close to, or better, than used. There are other ProMaster carbon fiber tripods other the the model I have that may suit her needs. Just a thought.

I have a friend looking for a good deal on a carbon fiber tripod. I thought someone might be able to offer her one at a reasonable price. If you have one, please let me know. Thanks.

The big question remains. What is the size of the camera ( FF or micro 4/3)? What is the size of the lens ( regular size or a super telephoto?) The answers to these questions will determine the solution. The type of photography will also determine the best head to choose.

I have a MeFoto Roadtrip tripod that works quite well for my close up, macro and general use with micro 4/3 cameras. Larger cameras could be used but a beefier ball head might be in order. My tripod is light weight and Aluminum.

I do have other tripods that are heavier that I regularly use for studio work although most were designed for field work. Some of these tripods go back to the 1960's

The tripod is available in carbon fiber and will cost an additional $100. Aluminium 3.6 pounds vs Carbon at 3.1 pounds.

I have a really good Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod available. It’s condition is brand new, never used it as I ended up with another with a different quick release plate. I’ll take some photos. I know they are around $400 so I will let it go for $220 including shipping and insurance.

The following is a great accessory.

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1026970-REG/sunwayfoto_mac_14_arca_manfrotto_compatible.html?sts=pi-ps&pim=Y

Place this on top of the Manfrotto plate and your tripod will take both Manfrotto and ARCA plates. Of course you could change heads.

I have a few of these plates for macro and copy stand use.

Good idea. If I don’t sell this tripod I’ll get a plate and keep it as a spare.

I don’t understand this post from a experienced seller of photo equipment here on UUH with no size, weight, or head mentioned?

This link goes to a monopod, not a tripod. But I do wonder what makes a tripod $400 versus $100. I still use a lightweight aluminum tripod that weighs less than most carbon fiber tripods. It cost me $40.
