I think they might be Ground Doves; pretty close relatives of mourning doves.
They are similar in coloration to Blue Rock Pigeons from North Eastern Mexico.
Thanks Doc and Stan. Now that you mention it Stan, I'm leaning toward ground doves, too. Although, we have had mourning doves visit and raise families for the past couple years.
A Google search suggests those are Red Billed Pigeons, an uncommon visitor to the USA. Locally called Blue Rocks in Northern Mexico.
