ON1 Free Stuff

A while ago, I mentioned that ON1 offers something new for sale every few weeks. What I should also have mentioned is the free add-ons they give to owners of their programs. I currently have 96 zipped files from ON1, consisting of several programs each, and they were all free. That's something to keep in mind if you're considering buying ON1. Every month, they give you free add-ons.

Same things we all get with the LrC subscription - fixes and new functions in the service stream. :)

Jerry you can add that you do not buy a new program from On-1 each year. I bought On-1 resize for doing gallery wraps. I have the numbers refined to do the job correctly... why change. So, using your comment it would be changed to $600 every 5 years... 600 is like real money!! $600 is a used lens or last year's camera... a tangible asset. This negates traderjohn's pennies-a-day argument.

I have been using ON1 for years and I think it's the best. It's simple and has most of the bells and whistles that PS has without all the confusing gyration that you need to do in PS. I have a ton of ON1 presets, brushes, backgrounds and textures that they give to customers monthly. Great photography webinars too.

Same experience - and totally true. And I might add, $120 a year IS something for me; some of us don't have a lot of money!

Ah, you've fallen into their trap. "For just pennies a day." No matter how you break it up, I would still have to give Adobe $120 every year, and that's not considering all the other "rental" software and TV services out there. When I spend my money, I buy things. I don't rent them. When I was a kid, I used to rent certain tools. Then I realized it would be cheaper to buy them, and I've been doing that ever since.
This isn't a point to argue over. This is just a matter of opinion and what each person prefers. Some people lease cars, and some buy them. It's their choice.

Is it easy to convert from LRClassic? How long, (for most) is the learning curve. Is there a lot out there on You Tube and/or does ON1 have really good support, UNLIKE LRClassic of India?

Just to be clear with the correct use of a dollar sign, it adds up to close to $120.00 in a year. Remember this is Jerry’s post but it is still 120 bucks.
