I have used Nature Photography Adventures for all of my regional and international photo tours for 10 years. Bob and Diane have extensive knowledge of Yellowstone NP, having provided tours there for many years. Not only do they know the entire park, like the back of their hands, they have a great depth of the geology, flora and fauna with backup plans B&C if their initial plan goes sideways. In other words, they are 110% professionals and the experience and photo/site knowledge to back it up. They can be reached at:

Mike, I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for but check out
https://gypsyguide.com. It is a narrated guide through your car audio. GPS guided so it starts and stops wherever you are. I've used them a number of times in national parks and found them wonderful. Very informative and entertaining and not obtrusive. And quite inexpensive.
If it meets your requirements there are none better.
Enjoy Yellowstone. It's a national treasure.
Thanks. We use gypsyguide in Hawaii and in Southern Utah and my wife already downloaded it for this trip.
I spent about 8-9 days in Yellowstone in Sept 2015. Awesome time to be there, as you will probably get a years worth of weather. We had days of upper 80's followed by heavy rains and snow at night, and back to 80 degree days. We stayed at Gardener for a few nights and then some nights in the park at a campground.
There is plenty of information about the park on-line that I suggest you do not need a guide.
But, google photographers located in West Yellowstone or Gardener, MT and you could probably get some guide references. Also MTshooter, here on UHH, spends a fair amount of time in YNP.
I have had great results with Mike at Yellowstone Wonders. I have used him on four trips so far and have another booked for June. He knows the park like the back of his hand and is tuned into the local information. He is extremely accommodating and pleasant.

Try Gypsy photo tours app. download it to your phone. Play the tour through your car radio and the various stops take your phone with you. They re well done. They give background history, accurate descriptions of that which you are looking. Best of all it uses no phone data. You can use it over and over as many times as you like. Best of all it's a $15 download. It was by far the best purchase I made for our trip to Yellowstone.

Thanks, as I mentioned to Gatorcoach above, we use that app in Hawaii and southern Utah and enjoy it. I was looking for wildlife help.

Thanks, Jerry, MT Shooter is out of the business and had no ideas.
Thanks for those references, Ricardo.

If I were in your place, I'd PM MT Shooter (aka Carter Bouslaugh) who, before retiring, used to run the Camera Cottage, a store near the park (and his own workshops I think) in Montana, and ask for his recommendations. He has been exceptionally generous sharing his expertise with other UHH members.
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/user-profile?usernum=9172Thanks for your response. I already contacted him and he is out of the business and had no suggestions.
Having seen your wonderful work, Bill, I will check out these references. Thanks.

Several years ago I took a photo wirkshop with Jared Lloyd. It covered Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. I would highly recommend him. He has a Facebook page.
PM if you want more information
John
Thanks, John, I will check him out.

I appreciate your detailed response, thanks.
I have heard it said that Yellowstone has 2 seasons; august and winter. Ice form in our pots while camping in May

We are going to Yellowstone in September and I am interested in reputable photo tours. Landscapes and wildlife, of course, are of interest.
I would appreciate your recommendations.
Check out "Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari's" They also have tours for Yellowstone and the Tetons
