We had a wonderful cat that was tortoiseshell-called her Spicey. She was the very best ever-especially with the children!
Judy, this cat is fast! And she runs all over the house, she is very speedy! Spivey was a great name for a tortiseshell! Love it. We thought our cat’s colours were like an autumn Meadow when we got her in October!
I'm going to jump in, but mine cannot compare to some of the earlier close ups! But I dabble in macro occasionally.

Great series roxie, my favorite are the milkweeds!
I have a Christmas Cactus that has continued to bloom for almost 2 months - never have I seen it bloom for this long. I have another that bloomed at Christmas and is blooming again! The flowers are so pretty.

I Don't have the gear to do "macro" work, but I do have any number of close up's.. When does one become the other?
Thanks, Gi..Just finished a session with hubby, Bill...He's given me so many gadgets to play with I finally had short directions put on my lenses...I must admit I've been very lazy about using them and practicing, too! SOOO,
I went to my tiny orchids for practice and advanced macro study. Yike I need the tripod, too!

Although not technically macro, (it's a close-up), I like what I did to this in Photoshop's Neural Filters (view the download).
