So, after waiting 6 months for the new Neo product, I downloaded it on Friday. After installing it I get an error message . . ."The connection has timed out. Check your internet, firewall, antivirus" - None of those are effecting my computer. It's working perfectly.
Problems with the website, reaching support, or getting a question answered.
Then I noticed their HQ is in Kyiv, Ukraine and wondered if they are still operating.
Has anyone tried the released Neo successfully?
Yes no issues but it needs a lot of work yet
I use both AI and Neo, sometuff Neo just does not do. If Neo follows the AI path, and Russia does invade, expect improvements over time and more good stuff.
Luminar Neo was downloaded onto my computer which is using the latest version of Windows 10, enough memory and storage space. Luminar Neo shows up as an independent program as well as in PhotoShop. When I try to open it, I get an error message saying that Luminar Neo has stopped working and that Windows will close the program and notify me when a solution is found. I had no problem installing Luminar 4 and HDR. Any advice?

I will not upload the new software right now...there are far too many bumps into road. This is disappointing and likely reparable, however, Skylum's reputation seems to be slithering downhill.
Cheers!

Try a uninstall and reinstall if you have not yet. Keep me posted. I'll be home later and try to help more. Also go to the neo forum for good support suggestions
Uninstall and reinstall Neo is my only suggestion
I tried to uninstall and reinstall Neo to no avail. I also looked at the forum and saw that many others were having a problem with the software starting to load with the splash screen coming up and then it would disappear. Prior to getting the error message, that's what happened to me.
Check the solutions in the Skylum Neo Forum, and the Skylum hot fixes.

The first time Neo is started it takes a ridiculous amount of time to load (even on recent gaming computer)! Not too sure why, maybe it is downloading additional pieces or something? Do a Ctrl-Alt-Del to see if it still running.

Similar experience on Windows10, but eventually it did open.
At least on Windows 10 speed is not one of its strong points
