Try smugmug. It’s reasonably priced and easy to set up galleries, either password protected or open to public viewing. I have several you can visit at whammer.smugmug.com

I have a gallery on WIX. I thought it would be just the ticket, but I find it just to expensive and to complicated for what I wanted.

I had a Zenfolio gallery at one time, but when they went "WOKE" I canceled it. Maybe I cut off my nose ......
However, the main thing I didn't like about Zenfolio was that to access the gallery there name came first. Otherwise, it was straight forward and support was good.

My purpose for the gallery is to have my photos available for family and friends and a place to send customers.

I have them already in PSE albums and plan on transferring them a folder at a time.

What have your experiences been?

I went to your Smugmug page and the garden railroad pictures are great. The others are too but I like trains.

I have and use Fine Art America - $30 a year - no complaints - may not be for everyone. Their printing service is very GOOD ! ... I have link below ....

I am not sure what all has been said about Google Photos, but this is just a heads up, that Google only gives 15 GB free now, and it includes what is being used in Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. Subscribing to extra space is not real expensive, but there is a cost. I pay $1.99/month for a total of 100 GB. I am not sure if that is the standard price or if I got in on a special offer. --Richard

Thanks for your response. not only yours but everyones, especially those who have tried to guide me in the right direction and shared their circumstances.

But, after considering them all, I think I'm going to give WIX one more shot as one user showed how I could accomplish my goals in it and that it is already set up.

Thanks everyone.

Yeah, Google capped the free unlimited last year and now has three paid levels in addition to the free 15 GB level. The best deal is 2 TB for $100 a year if paid annually and apparently no unlimited is available anymore. Might be a little cramped after a while for folks that want to use it as a backup and shoot some of the huge raw files now becoming common?

As a PS to the OP, I don't know if this was mentioned in this thread, but your question got me looking around and I discovered that I have unlimited storage as part of our Amazon Prime membership with Amazon Photos, so there is another option for you if you've ever thought about Amazon Prime or if you already have it. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks pretty straightforward and usable. Just upload and create albums and it says it's viewable by others? Good luck with whatever you choose. I've been "getting around to it" for years now, so thanks for the incentive to at least go looking again... of course, Flickr was free and I still didn't do it?

Smugmug works well, not too expensive, and acts as a back-up too.

Since I last posted to this thread I snagged a deal on two years of Flickr Pro. Now I'm waiting on the medical community to find a cure for acute laziness. 😉
