The worst half time show ever. Just no other way to say it. No melody, just shouting, the worst.
The answer to your question is probably determined by your age. I thought it was kust Ok, but my 30 something kids liked it a lot.
Ho-hum. However, the game was great, leading up to the last four minutes or so, which was absolutely electrifying.

That’s a ridiculous statement. Some might have felt that these 25-30 year old selections may have lost their relevance today. Not one of those entertainers would have achieved their level of success without white consumers. Why does everything need to be reduced to racial motivations?
What about my statement was not true? He is white, they are not. He is old, they appeal to an audience that is not old. Why do you automatically put things in terms of racial motivation?

You drew assumptions/conclusions that he would NEVER like the music based on race and age. There is no way you could possibly substantiate because one is white or old that they would NEVER like anything. Your assumptions are based partially on race and to me this is no difference than any group drawing assumptions about others based on perceived stereotypes.

And yet it is true. He did not like it. Your problem is that you would like for it not to be true.
I think it was one of the worst halftime shows. To me, this is everything but music. I think grabbing your crotch every couple seconds shows that maybe they all have the crabs, or some other crotch cricket! Nope, sometime we went to the kitchen and made sandwiches instead of watching. Just awful! Loved watching the game though. Both teams deserved to win.

The fact that he liked it or not is wholly irrelevant to drawing assumptions that the reason is because he is old and white and punctuating your conclusion that because he is, he could never like it (denotation/connotation).
Totally ignorant.
Moved the kids to the upstairs kitchen and turned the volume off until the game restarted. A terrible genre of music.
You did the right thing. If I had kids I would have done the same. That whole show was inappropiate for innocent eyes.
OK, so many agree, maybe there is still some hope.

Those eyes aren't as innocent as you think. Disney has more intense scenes than anything shown during that halftime show.
