Shopping on Amazon

It's funny how a search on Amazon can turn out. I've entered an item I wanted in the Amazon search box, and similar but different items have turned up, and I almost ordered them.

Yesterday, I realized we could use more washcloths, so I entered "washcloths," and it suggested "...dozen." I clicked on that, and the first item on the page was a pack of two dozen.

Then they had "Baby washcloths" listed. I don't want to wait for them to grow up! I want to use them now!

I'm sure all you Amazon shoppers are aware of this, but make sure what you're buying is what you actually want.

Yes, everyone wants to sell you everything they have.

(Buy two, they're small.)

I've backed out of Amazon sales 3 times because the price was different when I went to check out. Of course they were much higher...never lower.

Haha - not so much about you, they just want to sell as much as they can!

I just ordered 4 or 505's and got 6.
When you order on phone your finger tends to jump around like a nervous twit.
My unmatched various styles of worn out, torn, and holes finally got replaced. They will be sold usually at double the price of new.

Sometimes, if you don't need the item right away, put it on a wish list and check back periodically. I've had items that were reduced in price, sometimes a significant amount.

Thanks for responding. These items were showing a reduced price but when I got to the check out the price had gone up quite a bit. These were not all at the same time. Three different times.

I'd back out also, principle.

Maybe they think that the person wants it, how badly do they want it? Enough to pay a higher price???

I have found this with Amazon, I recently bought a small air pump for an aquarium I am setting up for my grandson. A couple of days later I got an email from Amazon suggesting I might like something for my CO2 equipment for my aquarium.Clicking on the item brought no information, as I had no idea what it does I checked elsewhere I found it on an aquarium specialist website at half the Amazon priice along with a good explanation of its purpose and use. I think the moral of this is of you see it on Amazon check elsewhere it could be a lot cheaper

My wife and I send a lot of business Amazon's way and have done so since the day when they sold mainly bargain priced books (how I wish those prices would've continued). The first 3 years we were buying, I got a free Amazon baseball cap at Christmas time, the next two years begat nice Amazon thermal cups. Bottomline, we have a lot of help Jeff Bezos succeed over the years. So... my email inbox is inundated with stuff "I'd like" from Amazon on a daily basis. Like most of you, when I go to another website for something, I'm no longer surprised by an imbedded ad of something I just looked at over on Amazon's. It is the gift that keeps on giving (and selling or attempting).
Although, I must say.... lately, the banners have been mostly MPB and KEH..... 😎

Definitely! I often search for "(Whatever) for sale," and I get a list of sellers and prices. Unless I need it right away, I'll wait a few days to save a few dollars.

Don't trust Amazon for the lowest price. I shopped for Hi-Yield (33031) Turf & Ornamental Weed & Grass Stopper (35 lb) and Amazon was over $74. Found the exact same thing and same quantity at Ace Hardware for $41.95.

Yep I been through that. Always, always read the description before adding to cart. One time I tried to buy a douche bag. Yipes, I got all kinds of flack. Another story completely, but read the descriptions so they don't send shit you don't want.
