I first did the shot as somewhat of an older or vintage sketch, more of a monochrome effect. After I had the sketch, I used 3 copies of the background original shot layer on top of the layer stack, with different blending modes, and opacities, first was a luminance blending mode low opacity, second layer find edges-desaturate-sharpen edges with hard light as the blending mode, and third was a color blending mode, then into camera raw for some final adjustments.

Thanks so much for the explanation. I just started using the " Find Edges" feature the other day. I think I'm going to like it. Are you using a filter for getting the " Sketch" look?
