What is the car in the background in #2? Looks kind of like an old Hudson.

Looks about like a 1947 Pontiac Sedan/Streamliner/Silver Streak.

this is a great series. It reinforces what I've often thought - for my taste, the '57/'58 period had some of the best looking cars! They kind of went downhill from there!

Cars often overlooked that would kick ass were the Chrysler 300 letter series, people interested in HPower should look them up. Power and class.

I learned to drive in a 64 Ford Galaxie 500. Drove like a boat compared to today's vehicles!

Your photos are some of my favorites. Brings back good memories. GTO was the car when I was 16. In 1968 I owned a red Impala convertible with white top but I still wanted a GTO.

As always...great fun! In photo #2 what's the cool looking car next to the Impala?
