I'm just starting to take golf seriously and I'm super inconsistent. Any ideas?

Did you address the ball? It may get mad at you and decide to go for a swim.

Depends on the number of balls in your bag vs the number of holes remaining (assuming you finish the one you're on). 🙄

You’re topping the ball. Bend your knees. Do not raise your body during the swing. And tee the ball centered under your nose.

And get your hips ahead of your swing.

It looks like you may be swinging up in an attempt to lift the ball...never works.

As someone pointed out you appear to be topping the ball, that's what happens when you try to lift.

It may seem counter-intuitive, but to get the ball fly higher when hitting irons you should be hitting down on the ball.

I've seen this in slow motion and when you smack the back of a ball with a downward strike the ball will compress and then roll up the face of the club and UP into the air.

Looking at your swing again you may also be lifting your eyes up a bit too quick. Keep staring at the ball (or where it was) until a second or so after hitting it. This may improve your strike and help with the "topping".

Thanks for the tips, I'll try that today.

You are what is known as “too handsy.“ Start your backswing with your left shoulder, then finish it with your left shoulder pointing at the ground. Start your downswing by dropping your left heel to the ground (it’s much too high) which gets your weight over to your left side. Drive your right knee towards the ball and think of hitting the ball out to “right field.”
These are just five of the 24th thoughts you should hold before impact, according to Dickie Smothers.
Or,
Take lessons.

The left arm is bending, keeping in stiff straight will be a big help.

Great tips, I'll take them all - thanks. I compared my swing to the pros, and they always keep their feet flat on the ground until follow through. Thanks for pointing out my left heel.

Aside from the other commentary on your technique, your hip/weight transition is early. Have a video taken from your side and watch the hip/weight transfer. Early hip action can cause a too quick up swing and topping the ball. Good luck.

Take another Vid from the side to see how your club head is coming through the ball. You may find the ball too far forward relative to your stance or some other aspect to your swing to get good lift

yes! Get several lessons from certified pga professional. (It can be cheaper than you think), if you shop around and are willing to possibly have to drive some distance. If you ask 20 different guys what is wrong, you WILL get twenty different answers.
