Wow, that is beautiful. Just inviting me to come! However you were “forced” to get the shot, you certainly got it!

Great shot! I will be there in April and may try my 14-35mm, if I can find a time when it isn't covered with people.

Best light --and best possibility for few people-- is very, very early in the morning. Hope you're aware that as of April 3rd, entrance into Arches will require a reservation in advance. (Arrive before about 7am --6:15-6:30 would be best-- and having an advance reservation will not be necessary.) April (and Sept/Oct) see the greatest visitation stats at Arches and all the region around Moab (ISKY district of Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point SP, etc, etc.) area generally, and if you're planning on staying in the area (hotel, motel, camping, etc.) a few days, be forewarned: reserve whatever you can several weeks ago.

Somehow that sliver of light makes a great image special. That, and the impression that the front arch looks like two dogs kissing…maybe anyway.
Thanks for showing another place I’ll never likely see in person.
Mark

Two dogs kissing, Mark? Uhm... okay.... two dogs kissing.

There IS, on the other hand, another arch not terribly far away whose official name is 'Kissing Turtles Arch.'

Thanks for the heads up on the reservation. I made mine over a month ago for the first time slot, so I should be good.
