Now that is fun...well done on the gator. Wow.
My only cc would be to see if you could get a bit more shadow off the face of your friend...but i think that is about all.
The green on the log is really cool. The jaws? Very nice.

Thank you so much. Yes that was fun. Appreciate your comments
This also brings up the point that not all photos are something to submit to some contest or so called high art. This is a very fun photo, I would put it up in my office for conversation (and proof of my PS skills). This took a boat load of ps skill and also showed that photography can be fun.
Very fun

You bring up a good point. In my opinion at times it is easy to get so enamored with obtaining some award winning/published image that one forgets this should be fun, too.
Your friend should be pleased!

Bet that piece of driftwood(?) did not remain there long.
Since I have been watching a few Chinese Fantasy movies involving flying dragons, I would give your friend a Gandalf long white beard and cloak. Sitting on the back of the flying dragon with its wings outspread. Feet on fancy motorcycle foot rests. The dragon resting on the sand after a perfect four point landing. This can take some time to accomplish, though.
As you probably are aware, there are so many different ways to go with this.
That Gator is a great workup.

Thanks for all the great comments especially the Gandalf one. I am going to try that.
I agree with Hip, your skill with PS is amazing. Obviously you find post processing enjoyable or you wouldn't spend the amount of time accomplish something like that.
Some great PP work, made it a fun image. Well done srg.
Don
