A few weeks ago, a Hogger posted a source (Amazon I think) for small, translucent plastic, individual battery cases for DSLR camera batteries. I thought I bookmarked the post, but apparently didn't. Does anyone remember that post and the source for the containers, or can retrieve that post? I've tried a search on Amazon but results don't match what was posted here (I'm not too good at search strings that get the best results).

I've seen boxes of straight pins at the Hobby Lobby in plastic containers that look close to the size one would need for a battery but I haven't tried that avenue yet.

Well, it looks like they didn't use any of these four words in the post:

What you are looking for may be JJC camera battery case holder box; pack of 4 is about $15 at Amazon. I carry a couple spare batteries in my pocket in Tenba pouches for individual batteries, but I don't remember where I bought them, maybe Amazon or B&H.

Search Google for 3D printable battery cases. If you find what you want, then search in your area for a "Maker Space" and contact them. If you provide the plans you may be able to get custom printed cases for little money.

Wonder if these would be considered acceptable by air carriers for transporting spare batteries in carry-on baggage?

I ordered the Foto-Tech holders that Norm posted earlier. They should be here in a few days so I can get my batteries organized and in something that will protect them while in my camera bag. Thanks for all your input, fellow Hoggers.

The important thing is to keep the contacts covered.

I have carried my camera bag w/ battery in camera and three batteries in the plastic boxes with no questions or problems. I did not ask anyone anything, or point out the batteries.

I did get a pair of Aftermarket Batteries for my D3100 that came with a plastic case for the 2 batteries and 4 memory cards. Even had a rubber gasket.
