Do you know what the camera and the no-name no-ISO listed film was like? The whole thing was never really meant to be used. It was a souvenir gimmick sold at carnivals, parades, etc. Collectable, yes. User, no.

Much improved, thanks! I wonder how many UHHers know what a miserable little thing a "Hit" camera is?

On Windows right-click on the image and "save as" works well. Can't say anything about Macs.

Thanks! I have a very "artsy" app on my Android tablet and may try it.

Yeah, until there is some mega-AI app in the future, what I see here is about as good as it gets. There seem to be a lot of "tool kits" floating around and so many Photoshop plug-ins. I appreciate the comments and the efforts.

Well, at least you got to see a photo taken with one of those little useless toy cameras.

I “used” one. Pretty useless.

Back in the day, film retouching of senior photos was and art...and also a lot of work.

If one of you wants to take a shot at it, I'd be curious to see what you come up with. If not, at least you got to see a real photo taken with one of those cheap little cameras. Thanks![/quote]

Not an easy job and it will never look as good as the original. But I gave it a try anyway.

I'm not sure where a photo stops being a photo, but someone ran my pic through a phone app. That reminded me of an app [Painnt] for Android I've toyed with. Here are the results of the cleaned up version, further processed.

Here's a quick try, but a high-resolution scan would help.

Nice. I have to start over with a "less casual" scan. Thanks!

Try this one on for size. It's the old axiom of "Garbage In" ... "Garbage Out.
