Early in December of last year, I purchased the DJI Air 2s. Previously, I flew the DJI Mavic Mini - a lot! Even though the Air 2s has a fixed aperture of f2.8, I went ahead and bought the package that included 4 ND filters and the smart controller. So far, so good.

I was a little bit leery of DJI using their own lens and not using a Hasselblad lens. I figured that by using a 1" sensor would more than make up for it. I am not so sure. The upside is that it does do all of the flying aspects I was looking for. Maybe I am being too picky.

I am going to make a few posts here to show you what I mean. And yes, I would appreciate your comments and opinions.

This pic I took the other day shows my son on his way to work in his 2007 Mustang. I was about 20ft. overhead, and yes he was going at a pretty good clip.

Oh, and straight out of the camera. No Photoshopping.

Just asking, why did you shoot at -2.3?

As I explained in my post, this drone has a fixed aperture of f2.8. This was a trade off for the other features that I liked on this particular model. In addition, only in video mode does the camera have digital zoom that goes to 12x. pretty neat actually. I just wish it had a zoom capability in single shot mode.

Why an ev of -2.3, you ask? I was actually up higher just moments before I shot this and I was using -2.3 for the shots I was taking at the time. So, to see how well this thing would catch a moving vehicle as a still, I had to dive down quickly and line up the shot. If I had the time, I would have changed the exposure. Sorry about the long explanation, I guess I am hoping for some advice perhaps?

Now, if I can only figure out how to load a decent length video. This drone does some very nice video.

Oh, and thank you for looking and commenting.
