Nice. I used to do that. I won first place in the scholastic art show when I was in High School and had a few of my pieces accepted to the national show in New York City

My wife and I ran ceramic shops in a few locations dove the years. Heavy, dusty job with heat from the kilns. Still fun to create and maybe please someone with your creation.

Very nice. Yes it is dusty. The kiln, which I do have a photo of in the archives, is huge. Stands almost two stories tall. Heated by wood and when working throws off an enormous amount of heat.

Sturbridge is my hometown although I live a few miles from there now. I have a membership at the village and participate there several times a year as a re-enactor.
