I tried to get through an entire game this weekend...telling myself these are the best games of the year bar none.
Couldn't do it...it's just way too slow of a game to watch.

But hey, I'm glad you find meaning in it.

What must you think of baseball?

The play-off games this year were all great, exciting, often very close, and fun to watch from beginning to end.

[quote=JohnSwanda]I record the games so I can fast forward, not just the commercials, but I fast forward from the end of the play until the huddle breaks for the next play. I can watch a game in about an hour and a half. For even less time, YouTube has highlights of each game, which are about 15 minutes.[/quote

I’d agree with you for most games but the playoffs this year were exceptional. How do you avoid finding out the results before you watch it…or doesn’t it matter?

I like the ball girls...
Yes, same thing...the paint is almost dry...one more hour.

I will watch a (soccer) or rugby match if I run across one...and I'm not busy.

I do my best to avoid seeing the results before I watch the games - not looking at my phone or computer, etc.

Was sort of hoping it would have been the Bengals and 49ers in the SB.

Boy that's for sure. The second half or so of the 4th quarter was epic.

Joe played like his senior year at LSU. Helps to have Chase on the field also.

21-3 What happened?

I watched the Chiefs after halftime, and They were not doing what they usually do.... Jumping around, dancing, yelling back and forth to their teammates, Hyping the game to each other....
Instead, they were Standing there. No emotion, no sense of victory....no fun.....
The Bengals' won the game on the field, but the Chiefs lost the game on the sidelines.

It’s an interesting approach. Do you wait until the game is completely over before you watch the recording? Or do you start watching the recording at, say, halftime of the live game?

I do often start watching before the game is over, and if I catch up with the live broadcast I watch something else for a while. I can watch my DVR recordings on my laptop if I'm away from home, but then I can't watch it until the recording is over.
