I'm pretty sure there are those on this site who think the national guard should have gotten more. I'm pretty sure I read one say that if they had been there they would have shot. It is, of course, something I have only read about. I'm not nearly old enough to have been around when it happened (don't I wish).

As a side note, I can believe that things at Kent could have been much worse. I was a young Marine Corps sergeant at that time and many of the sentiments expressed by military members were less than positive.
