Most adapters...don't bother...

Now if you want to drop some coin for an adapter that gives you something back...

For $329.00 buy the brand new MonsterAdapter LA-FE1.

AF...aperture works ...can utilize Sony AF tracking including eye (depending on your model)...
10 FPS...supports F mount teleconverters...Lens' VR will work with Sony body VR.

You get what you pay for in this world...
If you want to use your older Nikon lenses...make an investment and do it right.

I went to the webb site,
https://www.monsteradapter.com/products/la-fe1-nikon-f-mount-lenses-to-sony-e-mount-cameras-adapter
to check out the adapters and found that the adapter won't auto focus with many Nikon lens. I hope no one is led astray by these false claims.

Heh...false claims...hysterical.
Right from the website...

AF capable with Nikon AF-I, AF-S, AF-P lenses. MF only with screw drive and MF lenses

No, it can't make antique lenses have AF (rolls eyes)...

From your post
quote "If you want to use your older Nikon lenses...make an investment and do it right."
Care to clarify?

Only if you don't know the lenses.
Everything I stated is correct.
That adapter is the best out there for Nikon users to Sony bodies...bar none...so far.
If you want full access to Sony AF and aperture...this is the only one that can.

Oh sorry...Canon adapters are pretty good for Sony.
But native is always best.

Probably so but I currently have several thousand dollars in Canon l class lenses which is why I was asking the other person who has several Canon lenses which adapter he was using

Metabones Canon EF to Sony E-Mount T Smart Adapter V ($399) top choice.

Sigma MC-11 EF Mount Converter for Sony E-mount ($249) next choice. (on sale at B&H for $199)

The rest are of much lesser quality.

I'm actually wanting to get a reply from User ID since they actually use an adapter to put Canon lenses on their own Sony.
I can find all kinds and prices online but I'm wanting to find someone else who actually uses the product they are suggesting and not just saying it is better because it costs more.

Heh..it costs more because it does more.
You want less...you'll get less.

Prices aren't plucked out of thin air...everyone is in competition to sell their products...competition keeps it all relative.

That info comes from a site for Sony which has tested which lenses work best on Sony cameras.
There were only two clear winners...which I listed.

If you want to shoot manual...buy a cheapie.
Anything else...pony up.

Unless you are going to keep your Canon lenses...you might want to do that math of selling C lenses...not buying adapter...and pick up two good dedicated Sony lenses instead...used if need be.

or not...

In other words you don't really have a clue.
As far as me selling my Canon lenses and buying Sony that would cripple my business since we both have Canon bodies and so far I am the only one that has a Sony body.
And seeing how your original product was just for Nikon it tells me that you don't know.

Okay, I can see you either have a comprehension problem or a maturity problem...or both.

It's not my opinion. I simply did research...for you.
I misread the E(F) mount discussion and why I responded to Nikon...

Which I apologized for...but that's not good enough for you...is it.
We are back to your comprehension/maturity issue.

I could not possibly care less what you buy...or not.

As for the I can't sell my canon lenses because it would cripple my business...lol.
You left all of that out...don't bang that over my head...again.

btw...if your business is Canon/photography...you should know all of this already.
Asking a basic question...very basic.

My business using the Canon lenses is why I was asking for the information for adapting the lenses I already have to the Sony I just purchased I got a good deal on it since it's a few generations old however it is still a good camera to learn the system on before deciding to switch the whole business to Sony or to get the Canon mirrorless since it would seem that they are not going to develop any new DSLR products.
