New update today. I tried the "Remove Powerlines" and "Remove Dust Spots" features today. I know Neo is essentially still a beta version but so far I'm less than excited. See for yourself

It should be renamed to remove some power lines & dust sometimes.

I feel your pain. But, since you decided to do the work to remove the wires, doncha think that removing the empty telephone pole would also be a good idea?

Still a lot of sometimes in it but hopefully it will be better in the first release

No. This was to demonstrate the Remove Power Lines feature. No work just push one button. I left the telephone poles there to help define the feature

its a beta release. They just released 0.9.3 which has some significant fixes and new features.

I've given up on the app mostly…the asset management features are terrible compared to LR and they keep not fine bugs but coming out with a new version instead that supposedly has the bugs fixed but actually doesn't.

Every version they've released has had issues and they promise to fix them and add features…but then they come out with the new version that they want you to buy before it's even really in beta at their special super duper upgrade price.

Bugs are part of beta testing but I think they made a serious mistake be releasing a beta version to the general public. A lot of people are going to be turned off on Neo before a true working version is released. I am going to keep it for the ability to easily transfer images from my Galaxy phone and the sky replacement tool, which IMHO is the best on the market.

I am impressed with the beta release. I'm sure they'll figure it out before the final version. I use Luminar all the time

I'm not yet impressed but I think it will add to my arsenal of software that is allowing me to rescue some of my old film shots.

It did a fine job on the dust spot.

I think this reviewer shares your disappointment. https://petapixel.com/2022/01/25/luminar-neo-early-look-review-looks-promising-but-were-not-sold-yet/

Would it be more suspicious if everything worked perfectly in beta? I haven't tried the beta, will wait for public release and will give developers feedback from there.

True and not too bad on the power lines but it still needs more work
