I'm sure Canon will do that or perhaps do it for existing cameras via firmware updates (I'm not sure if that's possible).

I sure hope so, now I am limited to f/8 with 1.4x and on my Tamron 150-600 G2 at the long end the Tamron 1.4x made for the lens takes me up into "no AF" territory.

With your APS-C sensor Elliot, the 35mm equivalent is 1500mm...great shots...

Thanks for viewing and commenting which I appreciate: Paul, Jim Jack, Frank, Bill, Bob, Doc, and John.
I'm pleased with the 2xTC and 500mm pf combo but its very slow focusing on the Z50. Based on YouTuber comments this combo is fast focusing on some other Z cameras. So, for now its fine for non-moving subjects but not so much for bif, although I will be trying it out.

Very impressive and convincing, Elliott! BTW, how far were they from you? Thanks!

Thanks, Eugene. The first two were about 100 ft and the on in the water about 50 ft.

I purchased a Nikon 2x TC (version III) to extend my Nikon 500mm pf to 1,000mm. I tested this combo for sharpness on my Nikon Z50 using a tripod. I was hoping to see the Kingfishers at the pond but only a group of Canada Geese showed up. They walked on the ice and then went in the unfrozen part.

I think the goose is showing off how well he can tap dance. Your capture of the moment is perfect, ecobin.
