Have to agree. I still love my old Minolta film camera and still use it periodically. Just love the feel in my hands and its functions. Since digital came out I've used multiple cameras. Been using the Nikon D810 now as my goto camera for the past 4-5 years but it just doesn't feel the same and the Minolta will come out. Just love the feel in my hands and love its longevity.
excellent points. Most of the newer cameras feel "plasticky" to me and I worry that if I drop one, it will crack wide open. My Nikon F100 and F5 feel much more solid. In fact, it was a running joke for many years that if someone tried to steal your F5, you could beat them to death with it, and then take a picture of the corpse. Just don't get that feel from modern cameras, let alone the "z" series,
I sold a D750 that I wish I still had. Not that I don't love my D850. I just would like to use it instead in certain situations. (Like on sandy beaches on windy days).
