Did you actually read and understand the statistical analysis in the paper Steve referenced? And did you notice that neither have any medical credentials? ( “Kirsch has been both a philanthropic supporter of medical research, and a promoter of misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines” per Wikipedia ) The premise is that countries that give more vaccines have more Covid deaths, and the conclusion is that the vaccine is causing the deaths. The more obvious explanation, that countries who have more Covid cases are more likely to vaccinate and that Covid is the cause of death isn’t considered.

That the overwhelming majority of physicians and medical researchers and major medical organizations disagree with this fringe element doesn’t seem to enter into the equation of those that want to believe Covid misinformation, which points to a larger problem. In today’s world, many people search out and gravitate to publications that support their preconceived notions and biases, rather than using neutral accredited sources or reading both sides of the issue. That tendency isn’t limited to Covid information/misinformation. It extends to every facet of our life, especially politics.
