Tying two events together, William Shatner recently took a ride on Jeff Bezos's rocket with the objective of reaching an altitude of 64 miles because that is defined as the boundary between our atmosphere and "outer space". The shock wave created in our upper atmosphere by the blast from this volcano reached that height and then created a wave that travelled around the world causing the same vibrations (tsunami's) in the oceans all around the globe. The tsunami in the Atlantic Ocean got there by this means. Never seen before.
