I shot this photo as an experiment, with my new Sony a7C camera .
I only have the kit lense now, F4-5.6 28-60
It was very cold, no traffic as it started snowing and the wind was picking up.
I used Aperture mode,, F8 1/40 60mm ISO8000
No tripod..ended up with few pics... despite having a glove designed for photography...it was hard to operate the different settings on the Sony..
Please critique it... what could I have done better or differently?

I think someone just walking would have had a problem in that weather. So I think under the conditions, you took a lovely, fine shot. Love the pelting snow

I like it as is, but if you are looking for things to change you could try to increase the contrast a bit. But, as I said before, it is a good picture the way it currently is and I see nothing about it screaming to change.

I live on Oak Forest. Not to far from the Burbs That looks like an incredible picture nice job for hand held and cold fingers

An artistic result! I like my Sony A7C, but the controls are small and take some getting used to.

congrats on the new camera. if anything, i would have taken a step forward so the streetlight wasn't lighting up the upper left corner. but honestly, i wouldn't have even done that cause i'd still be at home drinking some vodka instead of venturing out in that.
