I like to give some general information for the anthophiles here. But first allow me to thank you all for visiting and expressing your appreciation.
The orchid family "orchidacea" is the largest and for some the most beautiful family of flowering plants. The Singapore Orchidarium simulates the natural environment of where the majority of the world’s 25,000 to 30,000 orchid species grow. I have seen wild orchids grow on branches of trees in the tropics which is strictly for support and not for sapping nutrients from the host.
In Singapore, cultivars of rare and award winning orchids are kept in the garden Mist House set amidst lush foliage and artifacts from centers of orchid distribution around the world.
I do like flowers in general but the Singapore Orchid Garden was a mind blowing experience.
Exquisite! Very enjoyable!
Very nice Kip, we love orchids and you did a great job here.

Thank you Joe. My wife is especially fond of orchids. She treats them like children. I had to make a "sanctuary" for them in the house as in no ... no ... not there, that is the wrong light etc, etc. . . .
